This year's convention will give you a taste of Europe. As you enter the convention site, there will be a sidewalk cafe, a wine and tapas bar, and a gelato bar to enjoy. Everyday lunch will feature different European countries like Italy, Spain and Germany. We will start off the ceremonies with a welcome reception on November 25. Here we will have heavy cocktails and drinks. The opening ceremonies will take place, followed by a night of music and entertainment. This evening's band is the RHYTHM and PIPES who features 2 keyboard players, a guitarist and a violinist. The fellowship night will be on the last night of the convention, november 28.2009. This will begin with cocktails and dinner with instrumental acoustic music by Classic Unlimited. The interhospital contest is entitled Ophthalmology's got talent, which will showcase different talents from the different hospitals. Then we will enjoy the band Vocal Eyes featuring our very own talents, who will be joined by other doctors from different hospitals. We invite you to stay and enjoy the night while listening and cheering for our very own colleagues. The night will finish off with nonstop drinking, dancing, singing, and just having fun. See you there.
